Eyarth Station is an old railway station which offers a unique experience to the traveller. This guest house is owned and run by Jen and Bert Spencer who have tastefully converted the former railway station into an elegant country house offering comfortable accommodation, in an area that is renowned for its natural beauty. We are set in secluded gardens with magnificent views of the hills surrounding the lovely Vale of Clwyd. Whilst this area is renowned for its abundance of wildlife and scenic walks, there are also several historic houses, beautiful gardens and lake trips to make nearby. We can also arrange riding, fishing, golf or mini safari tours. We are centrally located for touring the Roman city of Chester, Snowdonia, Llangollen Bala and all the North Wales coast. If you are looking for bed & breakfast in Llanfair Denbighshire, make your stay memorable by booking now at Eyarth Station, on of the most comfortable guest houses in North Wales. Eyarth Station has been a country guest house for many years during which time we have enjoyed the company of many nationalities and have received the most heart warming thanks with many return visits. | |
| We have six bedrooms with a choice of family, double or twin rooms, all of which have their own private en-suite facilities. The rooms are all tastefully furnished and have tea and coffee making facilities and fine country ground floor making them ideal for those who are less mobile or disabled. A choice of breakfast and country suppers are served in the dinning room overlooking the great views down the valley to the coast to the back of the house. |
|
After a days walking or touring our lovely countryside, enjoy some good home cooking (special diets catered for) and a glass of our fine wines and spirits from the bar. or simply read or watch television in the comfortable lounge. Guests are welcome to use the private sun-terrace to the rear and sit by the swimming pool whenever the weather permits. |

Eyarth Station is located I.5 miles from the medieval town of Ruthin, famous for its castle where banquets are held throughout the year. Ruthin, a picturesque town some 700 years old, boasts many medieval half-timbered buildings, a craft centre and is home to two welsh choirs. Our country house is a fine example of railway history. The last train to run along the tracks at Eyarth was in 1964 when the line was closed. Since then the station has been sympathetically converted retaining such features as its ticket office and platform. Today a warm atmosphere prevails at Eyarth Station with its beamed ceilings, antique furniture and cosy log fire in the sitting room. |
| Take the A525 (Wrexham Road) from Ruthin to Llanfair D.C. and after 1.5 miles take the first lane on the right to Eyarth Station or the A494 (Ruthin to Corwen road), turn left at the sign for Llanfair and first left again at the little cross roads. |
